The rumor mills have been flying since the recent release of the 3rd edition to the iPhone family. When will the new iPod Touch be released and what new features will it have? Well, while browsing the web, I stumbled upon this article by Michael Arrington at TechCrunch . In it, he talks about the possibility of a larger form factor of the iPod Touch that his source has told him. Could this be the new iPod Touch we are all anticipating?
This rumored 7" iPod Touch would be something that could replace the tablet PC as we know it. However, it is my opinion that there is little credence to this being the 3rd generation of iPod to drop. As I see it, it's far more likely for Apply to work bluetooth and a camera into the device they currently are producing than to redesign the iPod from scratch. However, it may be possible to see this come to be in the 4th generation iPod. I guess we'll just have to wait to find out. |
