Fountainbridge Canalside Community Trust are pleased to be organising The 2024 Edinburgh Canal Festival – a celebration of the Union Canal and canalside community.

The free festival, open to all, is happening on Saturday 15 June 2024, 12 noon-5.00pm and features local businesses, organisations and local community groups that operate on or near the canal, year-round.

Come and explore the Festival with 5 zones that stretch from the Lochrin Basin all the way to Harrison Park West – each zone has a mix of activities, great food, art and music performances. Visitors will have access to information about the organisations, their missions, and goals, and how to get involved or support their work. The Raft Race will be taking place at 2:30-4:30PM next to Leamington Lift Bridge. We are partnering with Driftwood Adventure to provide a safe and fun way for people to get involved with having fun on the water and giving spectators a good show. Registration is now open for entries via the festival website and participation is free
