WHALE Arts is recruiting Lead artists for their accessible arts program Play Sense Create/ Explore.
About the role
- Freelance Lead Artist role @ Play Sense Create/ Explore – WHALE’s Accessible Arts Programme.
- The role will include planning, delivery and evaluation of sessions. Sessions predominantly run on a Saturday and during school holidays.
- The fee for sessions is £185 per day.
- There is a separate budget for materials for sessions.
- Work with families and young people who have additional support needs and provide bespoke creative 1-1 sessions for our participants and their families. We are pretty much open to all ideas, with our key aim being for participants and their families/carers to have fun and engage as much as they wish in our safe and playful environment.

They will be hosting a recruitment workshop on Saturday 13th May for shortlisted applicants to come and find out more about the programme, meet the team and share their skill and experience. Artist fee (time & travel costs) £70.
