Longstone Primary solved a magical mystery and took part in a special tree planting at Hailes Quarry park to mark 50 years of Wester Hailes.
The event organised by Edinburgh and Lothians Greenspace Trust saw Primary 3 head along to a rather muddy Hailes Quarry Park to take part in a magical woodland walk with Rowanbank where they were tasked with finding the five parts of a map and solve the mystery of the park.
The morning was a lot of fun with flying competitions, lullabys to spiders and of course planting a selection of trees to help the environment and make Hailes Quarry park a more vibrant park for everyone to enjoy.
